Membership Terms and Fees:

 

Membership to the library is free for all members of the community. You must live in Olds or Mountain View County to be a member of the Olds Library. However, if you have a library card from another Alberta Library, you can use it at our library.

• Residents of Olds and Mountain View County: FREE​​​​

  • We appreciate any and all donations you make  to help keep libraries barrier free in our community.​

• Non-Profit & Associates: $35/year

• Non-Residents: $60/year (or $5/month)

  • Belong to a library outside the Parkland Regional Library System? (i.e. Marigold, Red Deer, Calgary) visit melibraries.ca to sign up for our library. ​

 

* Children under 16 years of age must be part of a family membership.

** Memberships are valid for 1 year.

 

Overdue Fines & Renewals​​​​

Get email notifications for when your borrowed items are due back! We can help you renew your borrowed items in person, over the phone, or email. ​

Renew items from our online catalogue using your library card and 4 digit PIN (last 4 digits of your registered phone number). We can assist you with any questions about your account.

• Fines: $0.25 per item, per day

• ​Fines: $1.00 per item per day, Library of Things

 

Borrowers agree to pay for all lost or damaged items or any fines associated with overdue items.
