Print Impaired Services

The library offers

  • Large print books

  • Physical audio books (multidisc and MP3)

  • Downloadable audio books 

  • Individualized download services from the CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) and NNELS (National Network for Equitable Library Services.)​
     

In some cases, we can provide Victor Readers to borrow while they are available. (Supply is limited. Ask at the info desk for details.)

CNIB and NNELS 

Our download service allows you to choose which authors, titles, and genres are right for you. We will download your books to the storage device that works with your Victor Reader. Books can be picked up as often as biweekly so you have a steady stream of stories!

NOTES FOR PATRON:

  • Patrons should allow 3-5 business days for processing once they have dropped off their storage device.

  • Author and Title availability is not guaranteed. Not all titles are available for download.

  • For the best turn around, patrons are encouraged to provide two devices. One for their use at home, and the other for us to fill. This will allow a smooth trade when more books are needed.

  • Patrons will be notified when their books are ready to pick up.
