About the Event
Online Safety for Teens is an engaging, preventive program designed to help youth recognize and navigate the risks of today’s digital world. Through open discussions (and a slice of pizza), teens learn about real-world online challenges such as cyberbullying, digital footprints, misinformation, identity theft, and exploitation in gaming or social media spaces.
The program emphasizes empowerment over restriction, helping teens understand how to make informed, confident choices when interacting online. Participants explore topics like protecting personal information, recognizing manipulation or unsafe communication, and responding to digital harassment. Facilitators encourage peer discussion and critical thinking in a relaxed, judgment-free environment, giving teens a safe space to share experiences and questions.
