About the Event
Join the heartwarming Book Buddies program, a special initiative that connects young readers with senior friends at Mount View Lodge. This program offers a wonderful opportunity for children to enhance their literacy skills by practicing reading aloud in a supportive, one-on-one setting. It's a fantastic way for kids to build confidence, gain fluency, and form meaningful connections across generations. The seniors truly enjoy sharing their love of reading and connecting with the younger community. After-school snacks provided!
With each attendance to Book Buddies at Mount View Lodge, you'll receive a Reading Dragons trading card sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Olds! Will you collect them all?
Registration Required | Thursdays @ 3:30 PM | Drop off & Pick up at Mount View Lodge
Please note that there will be no Book Buddies on February 26 & March 5.
