The Book Buddies program is a special initiative that connects young readers with senior friends at Mount View Lodge.
This program offers a wonderful opportunity for children to enhance their literacy skills by practicing reading aloud in a supportive, one-on-one setting. It's a fantastic way for kids to build confidence, gain fluency, and form meaningful connections across generations. The seniors truly enjoy sharing their love of reading and connecting with the younger community. After-school snacks provided.
