About the Event

Celebrate the magic of narrative on World Storytelling Day! Join our special Family Book-to-Movie Program featuring Peter Brown’s imaginative and heartwarming bestseller, The Wild Robot.

How to Participate:

  • Pick Up Your Book! We encourage you to read the book together in the weeks leading up to the screening. Starting now, families can visit the front desk to receive a free copy of The Wild Robot (while supplies last).

  • Watch the Movie! Mark your calendars for Friday, March 20th, at 2:00 PM for a special screening of the highly acclaimed animated film adaptation! (No school day!)

Follow the journey of robot Roz as she awakens alone on a wild island and learns to survive and form a family with the animals. This program is a fantastic way to foster family literacy and discuss the power of stories right here at the library.
